Experience Gartner's Web Innovation Summit on Second Life

Gartner is hosting a virtual world tutorial and a case study session in Second Life. Attendees at the Summit in
Las Vegas will participate in the session in real life and watch the presentation on screen in Second Life. A specially
invited group will participate in Second Life.

To prepare people who are not familiar with virtual worlds, Gartner will host a Tour of Second Life before the Summit for both registered attendees and the specially invited group attending the tutorial and/or case study in Second Life. ATC calls will be set up before-hand to give newcomers step-by-step instructions on how to logon to Second Life, enter credit card information, create an avatar, and take the tour on Welcome Island. (All of these steps need to be completed before a person can take the Tour of Second Life or attend the tutorial or case study in Second Life.) The ATC call will also discuss how to overcome some of the common sign-on problems (corporate security blocks, downloading software, bandwidth, etc)

You must be a registered attendee to:
• Attend a special tour of Second Life a week before the event
• Invite a colleague to access 2 summit sessions on Second Life
