Workshop Title: Legal Frameworks Guidance: Translating Between Legal and Business Language

Speaker: Robin Wilton, Corporate Architect for Federated Identity, Sun Microsystems

Description:

This workshop provides the groundwork for how legal departments can work with product and technical groups to make sure they have in place what they need to for identity deployments.  Excellent session for creating "common ground" and "common language" between these various divisions within organizations that are often separated by vernacular, trying to achieve common goals while being true to their individual responsibilities.  This is a big gap within many organizations, often stalling or unnecessarily killing deployments, and this workshop aims to bridge this gap, with a tangible take-away document that can be utilized.

Benefits:

· Get the team up and running quicker by first understanding the legal requirements and perspectives of identity deployment
· Create a more successful team by hearing listening to "best practices" around deployment relationships and trust models
· Two takeaways: a legal framework document and an Identity Assurance Framework document designed to help roll out identity deployments and provide a formal structure for understanding different trust levels associated with various transaction types

Date: Sunday, 11/9
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Room: Miami 1
